The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate an order with Lockheed Martin Federal Systems Inc., 1801 State Route 17C, Owego, NY 13827-3988 to design and fabricate a prototype H-60 common cockpit for the SH-60R. Lockheed Martin is the sole source for the Multi-Mission Helicopter Upgrade Program (SH-60R) E&MD Phase I contract which was awarded on 23 August 1993. LMFS is the only source possessing the knowledge, expertise, and technical information required to design a cockpit for the SH-60R. See Note 22. (0265)
