C -- OPEN END ARCHITECT/ENGINEER SERVICES SOL 598-66-97 DUE 111297 POC Soila Reando, Contracting Officer, 501/370-6687 The work requires architectural design services and multi-disciplined engineering support services necessary for the design, preparation of plans, specifications and construction cost estimates. Individual fees for any one project may not exceed $75,000. The term of the contract will be for the period from date of award through 9/30/98 with four option years. The cumulative total for all orders shall not exceed $250,000. The type of work primarily includes repairs, renovations and alterations of steel and concrete single or multi-story structures, although new construction is possible. Projects may include, but are not limited to, all or part of the following: roofing systems, ceiling systems, plumbing system and components, window, doors, HVAC, interior/exterior electrical systems and components and general site improvements. Asbestos may exist in some of the projects. The general intentions is to provide for such services as necessary to support the procurement of projects which may include but not be limited to the following: preparation of technical reports, conducting site visits, formal drawings and specifications, construction cost estimate, review of shop drawings, and autocad or capability to convert to autocad ready drawings. Award of individual contracts is contingent on the availability of funds. Construction projects are not funded at this time. Firms interested may submit completed SF 254 and 255 by close of business 11/12/97. Only firms responding by that date will be considered. This acquisition is unrestricted.
