The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire through full and open competition non-personal Contractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS) for the Naval Aviation Engineering Service Unit by qualified personnel. The proposed procurement consists of one (1) task: 29816. Task 29816 supports the F18 Program. The basic contract period for this task is 1 November 1997 through 30 September 1998. The task will also contain two (2) twelve month option periods and one (1) one month option period. The period of performance, inclusive of options, will total 36 man months. This contract covers the Government's minimum needs. The solicitation will contain specifications for Contractor Maintenance Service Representatives as appropriate. The place of performance for each Task 29816 is USS Independence/NAESU DET Atsugi. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 8711.
