By this acquisition, the U.S. Army will acquire regression testing on the Embedded Global Positioning Inertia (EGI) Failure Mode on the AH-64D aircraft. This acquisition will also result in wire changes to two (2) AH-64Ds in an effort to verify that the new EGI configuration performs as specified by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (Honeywell).
