13 -- DEMILITARIZATION 22,214 ROUNDS OF M650, 8 INCH HIGH EXPLOSIVE-ROCKET ASSIST (HERA) PROJECTILES POC Contract Specialist: Ms. Rosalie Lashbrook, HQ, IOC, AMSIO-ACE-D, Rock Island, Il 61299-6000 The U>S> Army Operations Command (IOC) is in need of a commercial demilitarization partner to enter into a contractual arrangement with Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD) in Richmond, KY. NGAD will be directed to demilitarize 22,214 rounds of M650, 8 Inch, High Explosive-Rocket Assist (HERA) projectiles. The IOC envisions the commercial partner providing the following services: (1) Provide systems engineering to upgrade/enhance the current washout system, (2) Demilitarize the rocket motor grains, and (3) Market and sell the reclaimed energetics and metal parts.
