58 -- NATO TENDER: MARKET SURVEY OF MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SATCOM SYSTEMS SOL 423/01/T-23 DUE 100397 POC Alexis Kemper (202-482-1512) NATO C3 Agency intends to conduct a market survey of military and commercial satcom systems which could be used to meet NATO's satcom requirements post-2000. The aim of the survey is to identify potential mechanisms by which NATO may obtain satellite communications support to meet its operational and administrative needs in the period 2004 to 2020. The NATO C3 Agency will issue a comprehensive package of documentation to provide a baseline of information for the nominated respondents. The package is aimed at enabling respondents to develop conceptual satcom solutions and to place a budgetary estimate of cost on such concepts. The tender will be unclassified. However, the respondents may be required to handle and store NATO Confidential material. All applicants must be certified to compete in NATO ICB by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Telecommunications.
