This non-competitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Oracle Corporation, Support Sales and Marketing, 20 Davis Drive, Belmont, CA 94002 is the developer and the only known source who can provide renewal of maintenance for the proprietary software products utilized by the Patent and Trademark Office. Oracle's "Shipmaster Bronze Support" is being procured for a twelve month period on the following products: Oracle 7 RDBMS, Qty. 1,500; Programmer 2000, Qty. 500; Developer 2000, Qty. 50; and, SQL Plus, Qty. 500. This announcement constitutes the RFP and is the only solicitation that will be issued. A sole source proposal is being requested pursuant to this announcement and shall reference solicitation number 52-PAPT-7-00043. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 90-46, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1.. A firm fixed priced commercial item contract will be awarded using the procedures outlined in FAR 13.6. Maintenance of these products will begin immediately with the effective date of the contract.
