Bannerman, 202-283-1111 The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a contract with Cisco Systems of San Jose, California, for Router Maintenance support. The IRS' requirement for Router Maintenance is the same as that currently described in Cisco's most recent FEDERAL SMARTNET AGREEMENT. The SMARTNET Agreement has been developed in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and the procurement will be conducted in accordance with this Part. The contract will cover approximately 64 routers comprised of 5 different models (AGS+/4's, 3102's, 3104's, 4500's, and 7000's) along with two copies of Ciscoworks Software for a cost of approximately $123,600 annually.
