Approximately 200 acres within the Garnet Resource Area, within Granite County. Approximate start up date is April 20, 1998, with 14 days for completion of this bid item. Approximately 190 acres are within the Headwaters Resource Area, within Park, Lewis and Clark and Silver Bow Counties. Approximate startup date is May 1, 1998, with 14 days for completion of this bid item. Due to the geographic location of the various subitems Presolicitation Site Tours will be held on three different days to look at the different areas. A Presolictation Site Inpsection will be held Thursday, October 16, 1997, to look at the approximately 200 acres within the Garnet Resource Area. Prospective offerors will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Bureau of Land Management Office, 3255 Fort Missoula Road, Missoula, Montana. A Presolicitation Site Inspection will be held Friday, October 17, 1997, to look at approximately 100 acres of the Headwaters Resource Area in Silver Bow County. Prospective offerors will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Forest Service's Wise River Ranger Station, Wise River, Montana. A Presolicitation Site Inspection will be held Tuesday, October 21, 1998, to look at approximately 90 acres of the Headwaters Resource Area in the Lewis and Clark and Park Counties. Prospective offerors will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Forest Service's Helena Ranger District Office, 2001 Poplar Street, Helena, Montana. ALL OFFERORS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION AND LUNCH.
