ACQUISITION REFORM SYMPOSIUM The purpose of this symposium is to provide a wide range of current and potential Government contractors, subcontractors, and the Defense acquisition community with whom they deal with, detailed guidance on the latest changes in the way DoD in general, and TACOM-ARDEC specifically, conducts business. This symposium will feature detailed presentations on changes in procurement regulations and procedures that will directly affect the actual and potential business of all corporations who do business or hope to do business with TACOM-ARDEC. Attendees at the symposium will provide the basis for understanding recently introduced procedures for electronic commerce; TACOM-ARDEC partnering with industry; oral presentations and Government's emphasis on past performance as a major factor in the selection of winning contracts. In addition to TACOM-ARDEC's point of view and implementation of these procedures, speakers from all levels of the DoD, from the Office of the Secretary up through HQ AMC, will make presentations on these and related topics.
