States Merchant Marine Academy's Continuing Education is to provide
specialized courses, seminars, and training programs for the maritime
community; commercial government, and military. The primary focus of
USMMA Continuing Education includes training in nautical science,
engineering, management and transportation-oriented subjects.
Responding to the growing needs for training in both the military and
commercial maritime world, USMMA Continuing Education currently offers
over 75 training programs. In addition Continuing Education also
regularly develops customized programs to meet the specific needs of an
organization. USCG Certification is offered for the following courses:
