The ASRS was installed in 1981 by Interlake, Inc. of Lisle, Il. The system has 1600 storage locations with two cranes controlled by a DEC PDP-11/44 computer. Inventory information is managed by Software AG's (Reston, Va.) ADABAS-M (version 1.02.B8) which resides in the PDP-11/44. Requirement will be to upgrade the computer system, inventory software, providing all necessary supplies and services to satisfactorily complete the upgrade.
