transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) conducts a variety of
Human Factors and Engineering Studies. The objective of this contract
is to acquire the field support required to continue and augment Volpe
Center's ability to provide an enduring highly responsive human
factors and engineering capability. The contractor is required to
supply a dedicated uniquely equipped Aztec F with extensive custom,
power, data gathering, display, and computing equipment as well as the
services of a CFII, MI and/or ATP. The contractor is also required to
supply engineering support for the existing installed equipment as
well as engineering services to design and install equipment to meet
new research objectives. The Volpe Center anticipates negotiation with
Bedford Associates, Inc., Bedford, MA since it combines skills in
human factors and engineering studies and provides the unique

notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation
(DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU),
has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged
business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance
for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
For further information and applicable forms concerning the STLP,
