C -- ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE AN/WLR-9 SERIES ACTIVE EMISSION SONAR SETS AND AUDIO GENERATOR SUBSYSTEMS SOL N00024-97-G-6112 POC Joann Monks, Contract Specialist, SEA 02612M, (703) 602-0951 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over a three year period under Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-97-G-6112 with Northrop Grumman Norden Systems, Inc., 75 Maxess Road, Melville, NY 11747. Orders will be issued for engineering services in support of the repair/refurbishment for the AN/WLR-9 Series Active Emission Sonar Sets and Audio Generator Subsystems. This shall include all configurations of AN/BQQ-5, AN/BQQ-6, AN/BSY-1, AN/BSY-2, and Submarine Regional Warfare Systems. Orders will be placed pursuant to U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). Northrop Grumman Norden Systems, Inc., is the developer and sole producer and support contractor for the AN/WLR-9 Series. Northrop Grumman Norden Systems, Inc., is the only company which possesses the knowledge, tooling, and equipment necessary to perform the tasks described herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein. No other supplies or services will satisfy the Navy's requirements.
