D -- MAINTENANCE OPTIONS FOR MANUFACTURING RESOURCE PLANNING (MRPII) SOFTWARE POC Jim Chancy, Contract Specialist, Code 892, (912)439-6741 The Marine Corps Logistics Base, Contracting Office in Albany, GA, intends to modify contract M67004-96-D-0024 with Western Data Systems (WDS) to add four additional option years for software maintenance and program management support of the DOD Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) software. WDS is the sole developer of this COTS software and the Government has acquired no rights for the code used with this software. The current contract includes options for performance through September 26, 2002. The proposed modification will add options for performance through September 26, 2006. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, written responses by qualified sources will be considered and must be received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis. Any responses must provide information that substantiates ability to provide above services for the DOD MRP II software.
