Request for Proposal(RFP) is amended as follows: Response for the continued operation of Earle C. Clements JCC located in Morganfield, KY will be available approximately September 29, 1997 for issue in response to written request. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period June 1, 1998 through May 31, 2000, with 3 governmental unilateral renewal operations of one year. The approximate average student capacity at the main center located in Morganfield, KY is 1830 students (1380 residential males, 100 residential females) and approximate student capacity of 404 students (304 residential males & 100 residential females) at the Satellite location on Western Kentucky Parkway approximately 60 miles from the main center. Overall total student capacity is 2234 students. Contractor will provide direct outreach/admission services for a total of 350 students and placement services for 315 students. It is anticipated that the mentor-protege concept will be implemented in the resulting contract and that the Satellite portion of the contract will be turned over to the protege as a stand alone center at the end of the base two year contract. A pre-proposal conference and site-visit for the Clements Job Corps Center is scheduled for October 7, 1997 to begin at 9 a.m. at the Earle C. Clements JCC, 2302 U.S. Highway 60E., Morganfield, Kentucky and October 8 beginning at 9:00 am at the Satellite center located on Western Kentucky Parkway approximately 10 miles from Greenville, Kentucky. Upon entering the facility, tour participants must report to and register at the Administration Building. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 8744.
