The work consists of overlaying approximately 15,000 SY of existing asphaltic concrete pavement, to include application of tack coat, removing approximately 1,500 LF of crack sealant from the surface of the existing pavement, and placing a 1-1/2 inch thick asphaltic concrete overlay on the existing pavement. Work also includes removal and reinstallment of 4 concrete wheel stops and removal and replacement of 11 existing concrete whell stops. Placement and compaction of 4 inches of base material shall be accomplished in area of removal and disposal of 178 SY of existing asphaltic concrete then prime coat and a 1-1/2" thick asphaltic concrete surface shall be applied. Estimated magnitude of work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about October 22, 1997, at a cost of $30.50 specifications and full size drawings; $29.50 specifications and half size drawings; $27.00 specifications only; NO CASH. Charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.
