Alexander/Pkwrs/ [937]257-6338 This is a synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and this includes all provisions and clauses in effect thru FAC 90-40. This is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.301-1. This is a recurring requirement for Hardware and Software Maintenance. Previous contract number F33600-97- C-0122. This RFP has 12 line items: Hardware Maintenance: Item 0001 (1 lot) -- M33-602 MPS-4953 (2 Bank-4Mb Memory Dom). Item 0002 (1 lot) -- M47- 105 (8-line Comm Mux). Item 0003 (1 lot) -- M32-010 (3200 Selector Channel Data Mod (M33-610). 0004 (1 lot) -- M33-610 (APU I/O Exp.Cab.60HZDom). Item 0005 (1 lot) -- MLC108-I (SCSI Chassis). Item 0006 (1 lot) -- MLC-100-I (SCSI SYNC/ASYNC Hi Perf Contr); Item0007 (1 lot) -- MLC-111-I (2GB Removable 3.5" Disk OBSOL). Item 0008 (1 lot) -- MLC-125-I (525MB QIC Tape 5.25") and Software Maintenance. Item 0009 (1 lot) -- S73-016-ABW OS/32 (Stream Cart) w/doc. Item 0010 (1 lot) -- S73-017-ABW OS/32 MTM w/doc pkg. Item 0011 (1 lot) -- S73-202 AWB Pascal w/doc. Item 0012 (1 lot) -- S73-226-ABW Universal Fortran Language. The contractor will provide all labor and materials necessary to maintain existing equipment in good operating condition; all services are to be performed on-site. Contractor shall also provide remedial maintenance no later than 24 hours after notification; and preventative maintenance in accordance to the manufacturer's specifications during hours of 0800-1600 Monday thru Friday. The contractor will provide engineering improvement set thereof and provide any other support to eliminate any hardware problems that arise, (at NO COST to the government). Contractor shall provide software support that include providing updated versions and associated manuals for applicable software, (at NO COST to the government). The contractor shall provide telephone communication links to computer service terminals for on-line debugging of software problems. The contractor shall provide status reports and present deliverables. Place of Performance: WL/AAWA-2, 2241 Avionics Circle, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433-7318. The contract shall perform in accordance with the established Statement of Work (SOW). The following clauses and provision apply: 52.212-1 and 52.212-3. Clause 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 shall be included with any offer. WPAFB OH intends to award to Concurrent Computer Corporation, P.O. Box 841805, Dallas, TX 75284-1805.
