You are notified that the following changes are made: Effective approximately June 1, 1999, it is anticipated that the contract resulting from this procurement will absorb effort in support of the National Transonic Facility at Langley Research Center which is currently being performed under NASA Contract NAS1-19385. This additional effort, which is primarily in the areas of Data Acquisition, Analysis, and Measurement Support Engineering, will be reflected in the work requirement estimates in the RFP, and in the contract Statement of Work. The estimated annual effort under the contract is hereby revised to 155 work years. A draft Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued for industry comment on or about September 30, 1997. The anticipated release date of the final RFP is on or about October 27, 1997 with an anticipated proposal due date on or about November 26, 1997. A Presolicitation Conference is planned to be held at Langley Research Center on October 9, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. This is the only such conference planned for this procurement. Details regarding the conference will be included in Section L of the draft RFP. It is recommended that anyone planning to attend the Presolicitation Conference contact David H.
