EXECUTIVE PRODUCER FOR THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION The Library of Congress, which will be celebrating its bicentennial in the year 2000, is seeking an executive producer to arrange financing, production, and distribution of national television programming in connection with the Library's history, collections, and services. The executive producer will be responsible for developing the creative concepts, raising the funds for production, hiring and managing research and production personnel, and negotiating distribution. Compensation will be contingent upon obtaining sponsorship for such productions. Interested producers should submit information about their previous projects for network, cable, or public television, including experience in obtaining funding for television projects and the amounts raised.
