The Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting for Solid Waste Disposal services for the Metropolitan Detention Center, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The contractor will provide dumping and maintenance services for one 30 yard trash compactor (solid waste). The 30 yard compactor dumpster will be picked up and returned to the institution once per week. The contractor will also be required to provide recycling and maintenance services to one 40 yard cardboard compactor. The 40 yard compactor dumpster will be picked up and returned to the institution once every three months as required. Also required is pick up and rental of one eight yard container at Stop 7-1/2 Naval Reservation, San Juan. The eight yard container will be dumped once per month. The contractor will also be required to provide pick up and one week rental of a 40 yard open top container. It is anticipated that the 40 yard open top container will be required once every three months or four times per year. An eight yard container will also be requiredat the institution to be serviced approximately once per month. The anticipated period of performance is to include one base year from date of award through 12 months and four one year options with option year one to begin 13 months from date award through 24 moths, option year 2 will be from 25 through 36 months from date of award, option year 3 will be from 37 through 48 months from date of award, and option year 4 will be from 49 through 60 months from date of award.
