The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to acquire the services of a small-business set-aside contractor, under Standard Identification Code (SIC) 7336, to provide complete design of various task orders. The design elements may include: 1) concept generation; 2) copywriting; 3) desktop publishing; and 4) graphic design. The contractor shall provide Key Personnel that meet the following minimum requirements: Demonstrates a strong, effective team of marketing strategist(s), conceptual copywriter(s), skilled designer(s) and desktop personnel who have a history of successful collaborations as a team to produce advertisements, brochures, books, pamphlets, pocket folders, posters and exhibit graphics, inserts, templates, and miscellaneous promotional graphic design materials. The method of procurement is through an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. The contractor shall have all the necessary materials to complete task orders as issued during the period of performance. The contractor shall have the most up-to-date desktop publishing software including, but is not limited to QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Freehand, etc. The contractor shall also have the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The contractor shall have a Mac-based system with a PC-compatible interface. The period of performance is anticipated to be one 12-month period, with the option of extending four additional 12-month periods.
