902-6216 Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and
supervision required to perform maintenance dreding at USCG Group/MSO
Philadelphia, PA. Work includes but is not limited to: Dredge approx.
27,000 cy of mud/silt from the mooring areas. Transport the dredge
materials by scow boat to Army Corps of Engineers disposal site located
at Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia, PA. Fort Mifflin disposal site is
located seven nautical miles down the Delaware River from the dredge
site. Procure an independent surveying company to take soundings before
and after and compute dredge quantity. Provide results of soundings.
Monitor the effluent daily and provide the results. Perform daily pH
and suspended solids testing on the receiving water at Fort Mifflin
disposal site. Perform a Bulk Sediment Test on the sediments to be
dredged and the sediments at the disposal site. Perform disposal area
preparation and finish work. Provide an offshore unloading station with
pump and pipeline to disposal pond at Fort Mifflin. Provide a unit work
item per cy of overdepth dredge material based on an overdepth dredge
quantity of 5,000 cy which is the maximum overdepth quantity permitted.
Provide a unit work item per hour for down time for the dredging
operation. The hourly rate shall be based on 20 hours of down time.
Performance period is 80 DANTP -- All work shall be completed by 6
March 1998. The estimated range is $500K to $1M. The SIC Code is 1629.
This procurement is open to both small and large businesses. There is
a $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE required to receive plans and
specifications. Payment shall be made to the "U.S. Coast Guard". All

DOT Short Term Lending Program (STELP) at prime interest rates to
provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is
