Supervisory Contract Specialist, 352-330-3017 The Federal Bureau of
Prisons requires the provision of coinless vending machines, "Debitek
Model 3 System" (Part #VIS-MM-8888, multiple price machine or Part
#VIS-SP-8828, single price machine), or equal, for disbursement of
vending products for inmates confined at the Federal Correctional
Complex, Coleman, Florida. The Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman,
Florida, intends to make a single award to a contractor for providing
this service. The contractor agrees to maintain product, which will
support the demand for sales in the machines. Stocked items include
food and beverages; dispensed in conformity with applicable Federal and
State statues, local ordinances, and sanitation and health standards.
The contractor shall keep the vending machines, including meters and
special attachments, in proper mechanical working order. Total number
of machines needed: 30 soda machines, 33 juice machines, and 29 snack
machines. The anticipated issue date for solicitations is October 3,
1997, with an anticipated receipt of offers due by November 5, 1997.
