C -- UPDATE CRITICAL ACV SYSTEMS; PROJECT NO. 672-98-103 SOL RFP672-165-98 DUE 101097 POC Gilberto Ratcliff, Jr. (787) 766-6538 or Fax (787) 766-6035 "Specialized Engineering firm in the design of Hospitals' HVAC systems to develop the bidding documents, construction cost estimates and construction phasing schedule and provide necessary construction period service for the project titled "Update Critical ACV Systems"; Project No. 672-98-103. Project included the upgrade of selected A/C and Ventilation systems within the following services of San Juan VAMC: Dietetic and Morgue. Also include the replacements and/or improvements of certain A/C and/or ventilation systems within the Hospital Facility. Such A/C systems upgrades are to be designed in accordance with applicable VA, ASHRAE, NFPA, and Energy Conservation regulations and requirements. The selected Engineering firm shall have a comprehensive knowledge, experience, facilities, expertise, personnel, etc. to complete necessary site evaluation, as build drawings, survey work and bidding documents within 150 calendar days after design project award. This is not a request for proposal. Firms with reference qualifications are invited to submit standard Form 254 and 255 including a design approach for such project to the issuing office of this procurement, Attn.: Mr. Gilberto Ratcliff, not later than October 10, 1997. This procurement is restricted to A/E firms within one hundred miles radius of VAMC, San Juan, Puerto Rico and is subject to the availability of funds." (0269)
