Edwards Air Force Base has a requirement for maintenance of fire suppression system as follows: Remedial maintenance which will include (a) repair leaks and replace parts as needed, (b) before maintenance begins submit drawings detailing proposed repairs to the base fire department for approval, (c) check all valves and repair as needd, (d) repair and check all fire alarm systems as required for proper operations, and (e) contractor shall comply with all Air Force, Edwards AFB, National Fire Protection, Federal and State applicable codes. Hours of work shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Water and electricity will be furnished to the contractor by the government from government existing systems outlets at no cost to the contractor. The contractor shall be responsible for quality assurance. The assigned government inspector(s) shall evaluate and approve all work accomplished. Maintenance will be on an on-call basis. Parts will be reimbursed at contractor's cost. Period of performance is: 15 Nov 97 through 30 Sep 98 with 3 one-year options. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside.
