Lockman (502) 625-7532 Acquisition Support Facility is a whole building renovation and part of a multi-year master plan for the design and rehabilitation of the administrative facilities in Area B of the base. Design documents were prepared in 1993 for the total renovation of the facility. The project was not funded for construction at that time and is currently being re-issued as an RFP design/ build solicitation. The project was originally titled Rehabilitation of Building 11A and is now referred to as Renovation of Acquisition Support Facility. A separate project design, Repair Utility Hub was prepared by Luckett & Farley in 1996. Design documents for Option # 5 of the 1996 Repair Utility Hub are included with this RFP to identify modifications in the chilled water service required for Renovation of Acquisition Support Facility. Design and renovate the Acquisition Support Facility. The building is now used as office/administration space. Provide a modern administrative facility for the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright Patterson AFB. Acquisition Support Facility is a 1940's, 3-story masonry structure located at the corner of Third and "D" streets in Area B of Wright Patterson AFB. Acquisition Support Facility is physically connected to Buildings 11 & 16. Work is required under this contract in Acquisition Support Facility and Buildings 11, 16 & 51 as defined by the RFP. The building will be unoccupied during the construction. Provide all labor, equipment, supplies, consultant services and materials to design, renovate and rehabilitate Acquisition Support Facility. Provide a complete and usable facility meeting the requirements contained in the Solicitation. Interior renovation of building 11A includes asbestos removal, relocation of interior non-load bearing walls, replacement of building utility systems, fire protection and interior finishes. Exterior renovation includes roof replacement, utility upgrade and meeting historical preservation requirements. The interior space shall be upgraded to include all new partition walls, furniture and supporting utility hookups. The finished space for the RFP would basically include 8,000 Square Meters. Proposals received from this solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria, listed in relative order of importance: A. Qualifications and Experience. B. Cost Proposal. C. Design/ Construction Plan D. Project Management Plan. The following information is required and will not be point scored. A. Performance Capability Information B. Subcontracting Plan. Estimated value $5,000,000 to $ 10,000,000. Solicitation is to be issued o/a 16 October 1997. There will be a Pre-Proposal Conference at the site on 5 November 1997 beginning 10:00am local time. This project is available on compact disk only. Project specifications files are in Portable Document format (PDF) and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Plans can be viewed, navigated or printed using Source View. Both sets of software are available on the compact disk. System requirements are: 386- or 486-based personal computer (486 recommended), Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 4MB application RAM, 4MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive.
