The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to issue orders under the Air Force Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA) F34601-94-G-0056 with Curtiss Wright Flight Systems, Inc. These orders will be for supplies and services for the support of the F-14 Flap/Slat drive system. The Contractor will provide modifications to the system to significantly improve reliability. The Contractor will perform developmental engineering, manufacture process engineering, prototype manufacturing, prototype qualification, spares overhaul and manufacture production quantities. Curtiss Wright Flight Systems, Inc. is the only known commerical source who possesses the required expertise and knowledge to provide the required effort.
