This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-1. This acquisition is set-aside for qualifying small businesses; SIC: 3442; Size Std.: 500 employees. Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001; Item: Provide and install one hundred thirty (130) interior solid birch doors w/brass kickplates, assorted sizes; Finish: clear stain lite-oak; Door Sizes & Quantities: 7' x 3' 10"/thirty-nine (39) each (Note: five (5) each of the 39 doors are to be windowed 23" W x 35 " H nominal with wire-mess reinforced glass), kickplate size-44" x 39"; 7' x 3'/twenty-nine (29) each, kickplate size-33" x 39"; 7' x 2' 6"/twelve (12) each, kickplate size-28" x 39"; 7' x 1' 6"/forty-nine (49) each, kickplate-28" x 10"; and 7' x 3' 9"/one (1) each, kickplate size-43" x 39" Work Location: Luke Hospital, Bldg. 1130, Luke AFB, AZ. Work Hours: work will be limited to M-F, excluding legal holidays between the hours of 0700 and 1630. Special Conditions/Restrictions: work will include but not limited to: (i) removal and disposal of existing doors; (ii) salvage and reuse of existing hardware (hinges and locksets); (iii) perform work so as to minimize conflicts which may interfere with normal hospital operations (Note: facility will be occupied and in use during performance of work); (iv) daily and final clean-up; and (v) in additional to standard commercial warranty, the contractor shall warrant all material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of final acceptance. Award will be made to a single responsible offeror offering the lowest proposed total price. Unit price per door will calculated by dividing total price by total number of units.
