RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS CENTER: Concerns having the ability to provide residential community corrections center services for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of facility shall be in the Montgomery, Alabama area including the county of Montgomery. No operational hotel/motel will be considered as a facility for this requirement. Estimated total number of inmate days (mandays) is 18,980 for the Base Period; 9,855 inmate days for Option Year One; 10,220 inmate days for Option Year Two; and 10,585 inmate days for Option Year Three. The estimated RFP issue date is o/a October 31, 1997; the estimated closing date is o/a January 2, 1998. The contract base period is 24 months with three one-year options to renew. A requirements-type contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this Agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
