SOLE SOURCE AWARD HUD plans to make an award on a sole source basis to the Clarion Ledger Newspaper located in Jackson, Mississippi for the Mississippi State Office for the following items: 1. Advertising of HUD acquired properties in the Real Estate classified section of the Clarion Ledger Newspaper on a weekly basis in color print on Sunday of each week; and 2. Advertising of teaser ads or other miscellaneous classified or display ads as requested by HUD provided the advertising can be accomodated for, on the one full-page or quarter-page ad. Estimated contract performance period will be October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998 for a total of 52 ads. The award will be made by the Georgia State Office. This sole source award is been made based on the facts that there are no other sources available that can meet the Office's needs; the Clarion Ledger is the only daily newspaper in the Jackson, Mississippi area which has the circulation as well as the number and types of readers that need to be reached; and this is theonly responsible source.
