This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice: The contractor shall furnish all labor, transporation, equipment, materials, supplies, fire watch, top watch, supervision, Quality Control and clean up necessary to perform maintenance repair services and improvements, including emergency repairs, for the steam, steam condensate, air, potable water, Delaware River water, storm and sanitary sewer systems. Work on all of the above systems shall include repair or replacement of flange gaskets, valves, piping, fittings, flanges, expansion joints, trap assemblies and hangers. Work on all of the above systems shall also include the removal of asbestos/non asbestos insulation and the installation of non asbestos insulation throughtout the Naval Base Complex and ASO Depot, complete and ready for use. The work to be accomplished will be in trenches, tunnel, on ledges, at ground level, in open areas, in buildings or on scaffolding up to 40 feet high. Machine and/or hand excavation may be required to accomplish repairs on underground utilities. This is a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Work Type Contract. The Estimated cost range is $500,000 -- $1,000,000. The SIC code is 1611 and the Small Business Size Standard of $7 million are applicable to this contract.
