L -- TECHNICAL SUPPORT SOL ADP-98-004 DUE 101597 POC Pratap Das, Contracting Officer, (202) 616-6150 The Federal Bureau of Prisons(BOP) hereby gives notice of its intent to issue a sole source purchase order under simplified acquisition procedures to Microsoft Corporation for Premier Master Services Agreement #96-00-003 for providing technical support services i.e., assisting in planning, implementation, migration, software upgrades, providing technical support etc., and toll free hot-line support 24 hours per day seven days per week for system software assistance for the period of November 30, 1997 through November 29, 1998 plus one option period. No solicitation document exists. Prospective contractor should submit cost and technical data to be evaluated. Interested firm must indicate their ability to satisfy the requirement within 15 days of this notice. Interested firms will be considered only if they respond with clear and convincing documentation that they are capable of meeting or exceeding the requirement stated herein at a cost sufficiently more advantageous than the contractor named.
