Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR ASPHALT SEALCOATING IN THE FOLLOWING SIX ARIZONA COUNTIES: COCHISE, GRAHAM, MARICOPA, PIMA, PINAL AND SANTA CRUZ. SOL 072976-98-A-0007 DUE 102997 POC Tom Carriere, 303/220-6538, solicitation information; or Jose Guzman, 602/225-3410, for scope of work. Total quality of work is indefinite. Two contracts will be awarded. Offerors may submit an offer for one or both of the contracts. One contract will include Maricopa and Pinal counties and one contract will include Cochise, Graham, Pima and Santa Cruz Counties. All of the following terms and conditions will apply to each separate contract. One or more work orders will be issued when projects are identified. Term will be for two years. Initial contract value is $250,000. Quantity of work ordered will not be less than $10,000 nor more than $1,000,000. Additional Consent of Surety will be required for each increase. Offerors are required to submit a single Multiplier to be applies to unit prices to determine value of each work order issued. Work may include any of the items detailed in the Unit Price Schedule and/or Specifications and performed in any USPS owned or leased postal facilities in the designated six counties of Arizona. Award will be made to the responsible offer whose proposal offers best value to the Postal Service. Factors which will be considered in evaluating offers for award are construction experience, financial stability, resources, and references. Solicitation packages will be available after September 29, 1997 at no charge; however, supplies are limited. Requests must be in writing and may be faxed to (303) 220-6552. If the offer is not hand carried, offerors are encouraged to submit proposal via US Postal Service (First Class Mail, Priority Mail or Express Mail). There will be no public opening of offers. All proposal information received is confidential until award of a contract. The name of the successful offeror and the amount of the contract will be released as public information. The number of offerors, their names, and the amount of their offers will not be released as public information.
