Hard shell, two claws with an average weight of one to one & a quarter (1 -- 1 1/4) pounds each. Packing for shipment will be 45 lobster per shipping container. Total required is 256 containers equalling 11,520 lobsters. Shipping containers should be a styrofoam cooler inner carton with a sturdy cardboard outer carton. Lobster must be packed in ice and wet newspaper for air shipment to Lindberg Field, San Diego, CA. Price offered must include packing and delivery charges and will be prepaid by vendor. Price offered will be firm and not subject to change regardless of market fluctuations. Lobster bibs will be provided at no additional cost to the Government.
