NNMC intends to award a sole-sourced preventative maintenance contract to NOVA Biomedical for servicing of their Ultra C Blood Gas Analyzers and Co-oximeter. Award will be made in the form of a purchase order for a base year period from date of award through 30 September 1998 with four (4) option years. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be contingent upon availability of FY98 funding. (0274)
