schwierk@pica.army.mil. The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC at Picatinny Arsenal,
NJ currently has a requirement to obtain engineering services for the
Hand Emplaced Wide Area Munition (HE-WAM) Program in the area of
evaluating the current state-of-the-art sensors which are either
commercially available or exist in the military inventory and which can
be used to satisfy WAM's requirement. The contractor will be required
to participate and provide technical input during IPT meetings, which
will deal with the more advanced sensors integrated concept. The
contractor shall also participate in and provide expert technical input
during program reviews for WAM, which are held at Picatinny Arsenal,
the systems developer contractor site in Wilmington, Massachusetts, and
Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL), Pasadena,CA. and Sandia National Lab,
Albuqurque, NM. The work performed under this contract would be
designated as ADP II or III position; therefore contractor personnel
performing under this contract are required to have a SECRET Security
Clearance. TACOM-ARDEC intends to satisfy this requirement via Sole
Source, Small Purchase Order to Alliant Techsystems Inc. See Note 22.
