The Naval Air Systems Command intends to compete an award for supplies and services necessary to integrate the design, development, logistical support, and hardware production for elements of the Weapons Control System (WCS) for TOMAHAWK and future land-attack missiles on U.S. and FMS ships and submarines. A draft RFP consisting of the statement of work, contract data requirements list, available government-furnished property, technical references, and industry questions will be published on the NAVAIR website (http://www.navair.navy.mil on or about 15 Oct 1997. Interested sources are encouraged to provide comments to AIR 2.4.1.5.3 (Joe Chojnacki) no later than 14 Nov 1997. Responses will be addressed at a government sponsored pre-solicitation conference to be held in early December, 1997. The formal RFP is expected to be released in March, 1998.
