The period of performance shall be for a one year period from date of award. The software is located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448. The Government requires this software support in support of the Government owned Machanical Computer Aided Design software which is proprietary and provided only by Parametric Technology Corporation. This software provides access to and the ability to interact with the Pro/ENGINEER database which is also a proprietary product of the Parametric Technology Corporation. Parametric Technology Corporation is the only source for the software support. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources shall provide their software support agreements and written information proving they are a valid authorized distributor for Parametric Technology Corporation with their fax quote and published price list which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.
