The scope of work and level of performance as delineated in the solicitation are to be priced by the Government as well as interested commercial small business concerns. The decision to award a contract will be based on a cost comparison which determines whether the work can more economically be performed by contractor or Federal employees. Services required include the furnishing of all personnel, supervision, equipment, services and supplies necessary to perform shelf stocking, custodial and receiving/ storage/holding area services for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) Fort Drum Commissary located at Watertown, NY in accordance with the Government's Performance Work Statement (PWS). The base period is July 1, 1998 through June 30, 1999 and includes four (4) one-year option periods. No previous history for contractor performed services exists at this location. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. THE STANDARD INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION NUMBER IS 7389 AND THE BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD IS $5.0 MILLION.
