General Services Administration is requesting price proposals for Mechanical Maintenance Services at the Elizabeth Kee Federal Building, 601 Federal Street, Bluefield, WV. A pre-bid meeting will be held November 4, 1997, at 10:30 A.M. The contract period will be for one (1) base year and four (4) one (1) year options. This solicitation is issued under full and open competition, negotiated, source selection procedures. Proposals will be evaluated on the following criteria in order of importance. Contractors will be required to submit the following information with price proposals: (1) An Implementation Plan including a quality control plan, planned on site personnel and their qualifications -- minimum of three years successful experience on projects of a similar size and nature required. Proof that personnel working on this contract meet NFPA 72, Fire Alarm Code must be submitted with the proposal. (2) Past Performance/Experience to include a list of references for projects of a similar size and nature -- minimum of three successful ratings. (3) Price: Total proposed price will be determined by adding the totals proposed for the base year services and options one, two, three, and four; and the totals proposed for emergency call back services, overtime call back services, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance/inventory reconciliation, for the base year and four option years. (4) Manangement Capabilities to include a resume of the project manager detailing management and supervisory experience on projects of a similar size and nature -- a minimum of three years successful experience required.
