The Environmental Protection Agency is issuing this "sources sought" synopsis to identify small businesses for elevator maintenance and repair services for twenty (20) elevators at the Waterside Mall complex, 401 M St, SW, Washington, DC. As part of the services provided under this contract, the contractor shall perform all maintenance and repairs necessary to prevent a breakdown of a system or piece of equipment. The contractor shall also be responsible for repairing broken systems or pieces of equipment. The contractor must be knowledgeable about hydraulic and traction elevator maintenance. The contractor shall perform daily routine inspections, performance evaluations, adjustments, repairs, cleaning and lubrication as frequently as needed to maintain performance of all components and systems. The contractor shall establish a Quality Control Program to assure the requirements of the contract are met. The contractor shall provide Emergency Service Call response. The contractor shall be regularly engaged in the business of elevator maintenance, repair and installation for a minimum of five (5) years. Responses requested by COB 17 Oct 97. (0276)
