Gantt/Senior Contract Specialist/202-512-2709 The U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) requires a contractor to provide security services which will include 1) project management; 2) security force management and staffing; 3) security installation and maintenance; 4) fire system installation and maintenance; 5) receptionist and related administrative services; and 6) parking administration at the GAO Headquarters located at 441 G Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. In addition, GAO requires preventive maintenance on security equipment located at 820 1st Street, N.E. All five segments of the requirement must be met by a single contractor. This requirement will not be split among several contractors. The government intends to award a fixed price type contract for one year with four (4) one-year options. The period of performance will be from October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999 with a two month transition period prior to October 1, 1998. The RFP will be issued o/a October 31, 1997.
