This proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns, under SIC Code 7379, with a size standard of $18.0 million. The objective of this procurement is to operate an alcohol epidemiologic data system which will support the Division of Biometry and Epidemiology, NIAAA in (1) maintaining and acquiring additional alcohol-related National data sets; (2) conducting research studies utilizing alcohol epidemiologic data; (3) providing analytic reports annually on liver cirrhosis and other subjects; (4) responding to alcohol epidemiologic data questions; and, (5) establishing and maintaining a list of epidemiologic research consultants. The Government contemplates awarding a five (5) year, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract as a result of this solicitation. The incumbent contract was awarded to CSR, Inc., Washington, D.C., in the total amount of $2,303,690 for a three year period of performance.
