The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure Paperboard Coated Cover Stock for processing U.S. postage stamps. The BEP anticipates award of a Fixed Price Requirements type contract. The period of performance will be for one 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods. The RFP will be available on or about October 23, 1997. The estimated quantity for the Base Period, is 6,300,000 feet, for Option Period I, 4,725,000 feet, for Option Period II, 4,725,000 feet, for Option Period III, 4,725,000, for Option Period IV, 4,725,000 feet. The coated cover stock shall be in roll form. The coated cover stock will be used in the printing and processing of covers for postage stamp booklets at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of this RFP. Please submit the request within 15 calendar days of this announcement.
