A -- SYNTHESIS OF ENERGETIC COMPOUNDS SOL DSWA01-98-C-0003 POC Susan Benik, Negotiator, (703) 325-6962, Edward Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) has a requirement to develop and synthesize a new energetic material with the energy content exceeding the energy content of HMX material. In addition, this new material will be developed based on the structurally-strained molecular concept will be characterized in accordance with the specification requirements for high explosive media. DSWA believes that the Institute of Chemical Physics is the only responsible source having the resources and experience to accomplish this work within the required time lines. Any firm desiring consideration must fully identify their capability to perform this effort. See Note 22 (substitute 15 day proposal receipt period in lieu of 45 day period).
