The project requires the selection of woody material to be retained; tractor clearing and piling of unwanted vegetation and slash for disposal by the Forest Service; treating fuels; implementing eriosion control measures; and spreading of soil piled by these activities. The project is located about 9 air miles west/northwest of Upper Lake, California. All units are located on the Upper Lake Ranger District in Lake County. Contract time is 60 days. Estimated issued date is Octobaer 12 with an estimated due date of November 11. Estimated start work date is November 12.
