Concerns having the ability for providing a community residential corrections facility(s) for Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Anchorage, Alaska area. Estimated number of inmate days are 10,965 for the base period, 5,475 inmate days for the first, second, and third option years, respectively (males 73%, females 27%). Estimated RFP issue date is November 6, 1997, estimated RFP closing date is January 5, 1998. Contract base period is two years with three one-year option years to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
