Reed (206) 526-6034 TEXT: Concerns having the ability described below are requested to submit written notice (including telephone number) to the procuring office listed in this notice by 11/10/97. Provide routine and emergency maintenance for NWS owned NOAA Weather Radios; Radio Vault Space, Tower Space, and AC service for NWS owned NWR transmitters; microwave service from Elko to Winnemucca Mountain, Elko to Cave Mountain with a drop at Prospect Peak, and Reno to T.V. Hill. All equipment is located in Nevada, and all services are to be performed in NV. The majority of these transmitters are located on state-owned land. The Government believes that only the State of Nevada can provide these services because they are the only source having access to those sites. In order to receive consideration for this procurement, interested parties must submit documented evidence of their ability to access state-owned lands. This is not a formal solicitation; however, concerns that respond may request to receive a copy of the particular solicitation if and when it becomes available.
