DIA INDUSTRY DAY Mark your calendars now for the 2nd Annual Defense Intelligence Agency Industry Day, co-sponsored by the Joint Intelligence Virtual Architecture (JIVA) Integration Management Office and the Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU) Office at DIA. This combination conference & technical exposition will take place on site at the DIAC Building (Bolling Air Force Base) on Thursday, November 6, 1997. The theme of this event will focus on collaborative computing. The conference agenda will provide first-hand opportunity for Industry to garner feedback from Government users, including military and civilian, about using collaborative tools. The main thrust is to empower the user with the ability to influence its application to improve their workplace. This is a golden opportunity for all participants to interactively discuss ideas on collaborative initiatives between Government and Industry. The event will include DIA and Government speakers' views on the applications for collaborative computing. Vendors will present a cross-section of current and future offerings during the exposition in the DIAC Cafeteria on November 6, 9:30 a.m. -- 2:30 p.m. All DoD, Intelligence, and Civilian Agency personnel, along with Industry Representatives, are encouraged to attend this event!
